1. What is your personal style?
“I've been wearing black for over three years. When you are as busy as I am, it's quite liberating to wear a no-brainer outfit like black. To keep things exciting in my wardrobe, I choose LBDs with special details and textures. I also mix and match neutrals like white, gray, and denim to my all-black attire and a jolt of fuchsia to keep my outfits fun!

Bags are the finishing touches to my basic attire and I love adding quirky and whimsical bag charms to them. I would say that my style is basic with a fun twist (and a bit of shout)."

2. What’s your trademark style?
“I like wearing sunglasses, boots, and a lot of black."

3. What do you usually wear to work?
“Comfortable, kick-ass shoes are vital when it comes to work. It is the foundation of my outfit and determines my endurance for the whole day. I need comfortable, robust, and stylish steppers especially when I'm shooting on location. Boots are my absolute favorite. As of now, I'm dreaming of Doc Marten's knee-high boots in patent leather."

4. Who’s your muse?
“I would say that my daughter Aryanna, KC Concepcion, Tim Yap, and Richard Gutierrez inspire me. My daughter is very special to me in so many ways. Her carefree attitude and cute and cool way of dressing constantly remind me of how I should never take myself or the way I dress up too seriously.

KC Concepcion embodies style and substance. She is a beautiful person inside and out and inspires me to keep things simple yet stylish. She's also an active and busy person, so comfort is key in building her wardrobe. Personally, I find that KC is most stylish when she's off-cam and just hanging out with kids when working for WFP (World Food Program)-cut-out WFP t-shirt, jeans, rubber shoes and a cap, or wearing her lola's vintage bandanas.

Tim Yap is original. His style and personality is beaming with energy and positivity. He also inspires me to live life to the fullest. His attitude reflects on his stylish and fun outfits, from multiple boob blazer, anime attires, to mascot (Optimus Prime, Lumiere and a dog) costumes, he is fearless and fun, fun, fun! In my humble opinion, Tim is this generation's Peter Pan.

Richard Gutierrez reminds me of a classic old Hollywood actor when dressing up. He sticks to the classics and is never trendy. Quality rules for him over quantity. He keeps his wardrobe simple, stylish, and can also up the glam factor with designer suits, jackets, and sleek slacks. His stunning collection of watches and shoes are the building blocks of his wardrobe. He inspires me to keep things beautiful and reminds me of the old adage that style is discipline."

Her name pops up whenever you think of Manila’s top stylists. Respected and in-demand, this style maven shares her fashion secrets.
