1. What is your personal style?
“Freestylin'. Anything definitive should be appropriate and comfortable to the person wearing it.
2. What’s your trademark style?
“If I had to have a signature on the clothes I wear-a trademark, I’d probably be remembered either wearing a hat or shades. If I can’t wear either because it is inappropriate considering the occasion or the weather, I’d try to sneak in a scarf.
As for a trademark look that people can tell ‘Ah, Jasmine styled that!’-I’m afraid I have none. I’d like to think of this as my strength because that way, I don’t limit myself. My styling ranges from kids, to preteens, teens, and female or male adult celebrities. I try to keep my styling appropriate and suited to the client or feature’s look/personality rather than just plain trendy."
3. What do you usually wear to work?
“I try to be as versatile and as unpredictable as my mood or the work I do."
4. Who’s your muse?
“My muse would be Gab dela Merced. Not only is she one of my most constant clients and closest friends, she is also a person with a style all her own. Even if she doesn’t like dressing up, once she finds the perfect dress that’s equally unique as her personality, she carries it with confidence. That I think is more stylish than any set of clothes she might have."
Take a page from Jasmine’s book and accessorize-pick conversation piece-worthy yet uncomplicated scarves or hats to glam up an outfit.
