Speedy Salad Station
Looking for a great starter dish for your party? Why not set up your own salad station? This way your guests get to have exactly what they want!
For the Citrus Basil Vinaigrette
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 lemon, zested
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon honey
1/8 cup chopped fresh basil
1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
Ajinomoto Umami Super Seasoning
salt and pepper
Procedure
In a jar with a lid, mix the olive oil, orange juice, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, honey, basil, Ajinomoto Umami Super Seasoning, salt and pepper and vinegar. Seal and shake well. Chill.
For the Avocado Ranch Dressing
1/4 cup ripe avocado
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1 1/2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon dried parsley
1 pinch dried dill weed
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1 pinch garlic powder
Ajinomoto Umami Super Seasoning
salt and pepper
Procedure
In a food processor, process the avocado, then stir in mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, and vinegar. Sprinkle with salt, parsley, dill, onion powder, Ajinomoto Umami Super Seasoning, salt and pepper and garlic powder. Stir until well blended, chill until ready to serve.
For the Salad
Mixed salad greens
Cherry tomatoes
White Onion
Red Onion
Assorted Dried Herbs
Assorted cold cuts and sausages
Assorted Cheese
Orange
Mango
Grapes
Melon
Procedure
Using the assorted ingredients, create and mix salad recipe to your liking.
