Passion Fruit and Milk Chocolate Macaroons
Think these yummy French confections are only available in patisseries? Think again! Now you can make your own macaroons at home with this easy-to-follow recipe!
For biscuits:
Ingredients:
150 grams ground almonds
150 grams icing sugar
5 egg whites
250 grams granulated sugar
Few drops coloring
Direction:
1. Turn on the oven to 300F.
2. In a large bowl, sift together the almonds and powdered sugar.
3. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Add the granulated sugar.
4. Delicately fold in the almond mixture using a wooden spatula. Add the food colorings.
5. When the batter is shiny and supple, put it in a piping bag.
6. Pipe out small amounts of batter; shape into 3 cm large circles. Bake for 25 minutes.
For fillings:

100 grams passion fruit puree
100 grams cream
400 grams milk chocolate
40 grams butter

1. Bring the cream and passion fruit to boil.
2. Add milk chocolate, finally add butter
