Q Channel 11 Programs bag awards from Gawad Tanglaw and Ani ng Dangal
Two Q Channel 11 programs recently earned recognitions from two different award-giving bodies.
The Sweet Life, hosted by Lucy Torres-Gomez together with Wilma Doesnt and Grace Lee, was awarded as the Best Lifestyle Show in the 8th Gawad TANGLAW (Tagapuring mga Akademik ng Aninong Gumagalaw) recently held at the Jose Rizal University.
Known for offering entertaining segments and features for its audience from Monday to Friday, The Sweet Life will continue to do so as it enters its fourth year this April with not-to-be-missed anniversary specials.
Meanwhile, the documentary Inno Sotto: A Special Fashion Documentary, which aired on Q Channel 11 in February 2008 and which won the Gold World Medal Award for the Biography/Profiles Category in the 2009 New York Festivals, was one of the awardees for multi-disciplinary arts in the Ani ng Dangal.
An initiative of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, Ani ng Dangal is a state recognition given to Filipino artists and groups who won prestigious awards in international competitions. The awarding ceremony for its second year was held at the Malacanang Palace last February 26, 2010.
