Airbrush Your Flaws Away!
Think airbrush makeup can only be done by professional makeup artists? Think again! With new airbrush cosmetics from GlamBox, you can create your own flawless look in the comfort of your own home.

Business partners Valerie Tan and Andrea Hontiveros are the distributors of GlamBox Airbrush Cosmetics. “We wanted to find an airbrush kit that’s accessible to kikay girls who want to try doing airbrush makeup themselves or for makeup artists who can’t afford the more expensive airbrush kits-without sacrificing quality." Valerie shared with us.
Used mostly by film and TV stars or for special events, airbrush makeup creates a natural, even, and flawless finish on the skin. While traditional makeup can cake or streak, GlamBox uses silicone-based makeup to create a fine mist you can spray directly on the areas you want covered. It’s also easy to use, lasts 10 to 12 hours, and allows you to mix and match different foundation and cheek colors so you can get the exact shade you want.
It sounds too good to be true, but is it? We asked two women to try this new product out!
Testimonials by:
Aimee, 23
Missy, 27

How easy was it for you to set up and use the airbrush makeup?
Aimee: Valerie was the one who set it up, but all she did was plug it in and put drops of makeup [in the gun]. It seemed easy enough.
Missy: It was my first time using airbrush make up, and it took me less than a minute to know how to operate the compressor. You’ll just have to know what color you want to apply and that’s it.
How did the product feel on your skin? Was it too heavy, light, or just right?
Aimee: It was really light. Actually, it would be hard to distinguish if I already had it on or not because of the lightness.
Missy: It felt refreshing. The air from the compressor was cool and the foundation dries quickly. I barely felt the foundation on my skin while applying it; it was like using a mini fan.
How long did the product last on your skin? Did you need to re-apply makeup, did it make your skin oily, or did you get an allergic reaction to it?
Aimee: It lasted until the end of the day.
Missy: It lasted for about five hours. No, my skin did not get oily.
What are the pros and cons of this product?
Aimee: I saw that the product has talc, and I’m wary about it because it can clog pores. If the makeup had a healthier formulation, it would definitely be a keeper. The biggest problem for me is the retouching. Commuting usually means wiping sweat off with a hanky or tissue, so some of the makeup might come off. But if you’re in a comfortable environment the whole time, there should be no problem.
I also like how it’s a compact kit. It’s easy to store and bring along, although it’s too bulky to carry in a purse. I love the natural airbrush effect and the lightness of the makeup; it really gives a "no-make-up make-up look." Despite having talc, I did not breakout the morning after, I think that makes it pretty safe.
Missy: I think that this is a breakthrough in applying make-up because you don’t need to be a professional make-up artist to use it. Give it a day or two and you’ll be able to perfectly apply it. I just wonder if it is safe if you inhale a bit of the foundation since it is sprayed onto the face.
Who would you recommend this product to?
Aimee: I think this make-up would photograph nicely, so [I’d recommend it to] photographers and make-up artists. But actually, [I'd also recommend it] to any normal person who wants to put on makeup. I’d want to buy it myself if I had the money.
Missy: I would recommend it to my sisters and friends who wear make-up most of the time. Actually, any kikay girl would go for this.
