Last April 22, 2009, the Australian College of Hair Design and Beauty (ACHDB) opened its Manila campus, conveniently located at the 4th level of The Podium, Ortigas Center.

ACHDB boasts of 75% hands-on practical training and 25% theory-based training in all its courses, ranging from makeup and hairdressing to salon management. Its faculty is composed of professionals from the makeup and hairdressing fields here and abroad, and the school aims to produce graduates who will be at par with international hairstylists and makeup artists.

Geni Gonzales, Director of Education for ACHDB-Manila, says, “I believe that the education offered by the ACHDB is what Filipinos need. You already have the talent. What you need is international training and accreditation that will allow you to work in Australia, Paris, Milan, London, New York, or in any of the top fashion capitals."
