Congratulations to the Winners of the True Confections Promo!
Congratulations to Ginalyn Magboo and Maria Noella Mayo for winning two tickets each to the set of True Confections! They each cooked up a delectable dish from the WMN recipe archives, and sent us each a photo and testimonial about their experiences making their respective dishes.
Check out the winning entries below:
Regular home cook Ginalyn made tasty Pan-seared Salmon Fillet for her and her husband for dinner. See how her dish turned out:
“I love cooking and my husband loves to eat! I love watching cooking shows where I can get new recipes in order to make a special and easy meal everyday. While cooking this dish, my husband was excited to taste it and kept asking me if I was done already. When I served it on the table for dinner he said, ‘Wow, yummy!’ and it makes me feel full every time I see him enjoying a dish I prepared."
Maria Noella took a leap of faith and decided to try something new by making sweet and yummy Creamy Kiwi Cups. Want to know if she succeeded? Here’s what she had to say about her experience:
“At first I was hesitant to try making a new dessert because, like what most people feel, it’s better to make desserts that you have known for a long time. And trying a new one by following a recipe was not going to be easy. While making it, I was thinking of the results already: will it turn out good or not? Aside from that, it took time for me to get one of the simple ingredients because of budgeting [constraints], but I succeeded! While eating the dessert, I felt great about myself because I had done something awesome! I’ll try more of the desserts on this website in the future! Happy eating for me!"
