From casual tiered dresses and cute floral prints, to halter-style numbers and flowing maxis, the year 2009 was definitely a time when people took more risks when it came to dress-ing up.

Dresses came in every style, length, and color last year and were worn in a variety of ways. Some were worn over pants, while others were cinched at the waist or accessorized with an assortment of bangles, necklaces, bags, and shoes.
