From flowy and floral to tight and printed, skirts came in almost every style, shape, and color in the year 2009.

While floral prints dominated majority of the skirt scene, bold colors, a few fun patterns like stripes and animal prints, and edgy designs like skulls also made an appearance. Belts played a big part in creating complete looks with skirts, as one of the more popular ways to wear them was to cinch them at the waist.
